The black aluminum Universal 15mm LWS Baseplate from Tilta can be adapted to accommodate the unique sensor height of various camera bodies in relation to the rod position. It includes two 1/4"-20 camera screws and can be modified using Tilta Type I, II, or III LWS Baseplate Adapters, which feature Arca-type receivers and are compatible with many Tilta camera cages and select DJI Ronin gimbals. Tilta TA-UBP Overview

Lever gets Loose - Goodbye Camera!

Had this baseplate for a year on my FX6, and the lever started to get loose to the point where the camera slid around on the dovetail plates.

Really Small mounting base not large enough for box cameras

wanted to use this on a c300-3 but its way too small. the plate uses "custom" bolts which are actually 1/4 20 hex bolts with threads shaved. should use standard mounting screws because these aren't retained in the slot. the slot for the screws is SUPER SHORT and I could barely get them to work. the spacing on the camera bottom plate is pretty normal distances and I could only align this to the very closest pair, which you really shouldn't do. there is too much torque to potentially shear these thinned bolts out when using a larger rigged out cinema camera. the center is exactly the same height as tops of 15mm rod holders. - one star for packaging using excessive plastic bags, shrink wrap, and yet another cheap hex key to get thrown into recycle. 100% could be eliminated. returning item.

As the Tilta Universal 15mm LWS Baseplate (Black) is a universal baseplate, it can be used with the Canon EOS C500 Mark II 5.9K Full-Frame Camera Body (EF Mount); however your lens to rod height may not be of a standard height due to the universal nature of the baseplate.

The Tilta Full Camera Cage for GH7/GH6 (B&H # TITAT15FCCB) is compatible with the Tilta Universal 15mm LWS Baseplate, which will adapt to the 1/4"-20 threads.
