Is this unit backwards compatible with a PC using Windows 10 and Thunderbolt 2 connection, by using a Th2 to Th3 Apple adaptor?
Asked by: Rafael
The HighPoint RS6618V 8-Bay Thunderbolt 3 RAID Enclosure, B&H # HIRS6618V, requires a native Thunderbolt 3 port on the host computer; we would not recommend trying to use it with an adapter. Keep in mind that it also does not support Windows computers with a Thunderbolt 4 port; only Thunderbolt 3 Windows computers are supported.
