Also featured is Refresh Pro, allowing you to monitor your card's health, and sanitize your card to bring it back to factory fresh speeds. CFexpress 4.0, such as the ProGrade Digital 480GB CFexpress 4.0 Type A Iridium Memory Card (2-Pack), is much faster than CFexpress 2.0. The Sony a1 and a7R V can only read up to CFexpress 2.0 speeds, so you are better off buying the Gold 2.0 cards since you would not be able to take advantage of the 4.0 speeds. The advantages of buying the 4.0 cards would be faster transfers to a computer and future-proofing yourself for newer cameras that support the CFexpress 4.0 speeds.
