Freezes with the caps lock light on

I really like this keyboard. It looks like an Apple Magic keyboard, except cheaper. Easy to connect. However, within a week or two of using it, it froze. No key worked. The caps lock light remained on. Even the power button could not shut it off. I had to open it, unplug the battery and plug it back in. It worked well for about another 2-3 weeks and it froze again just now. I opened it again, unplugged the battery and plugged it back in, and it is good to go again. So I cut a small access hole in the case immediately under the battery plug, so if/when it freezes again, I wouldn't have to open it, just use a tweezer to do the unplug/plug fix.
