The MK 41 capsule's high directivity at low and medium frequencies is comparable to that of a shotgun microphone. The MK 41 capsule is ideal for recording dialogue for film and as a spot microphone in the orchestra and on the opera stage.
The matte gray Schoeps CMC 1 U is a miniature Colette Series microphone amplifier offering uncompromising high fidelity in a lightweight and ultracompact form factor for studio recording, broadcast, and live stage applications. Presented as an alternative to the renowned Schoeps CMC 6 amplifier, the CMC 1 U is compatible with all existing MK mic capsules and Colette active accessories (all available separately).
It features a balanced XLR output, compliance with 12 or 48V phantom power, and low current consumption. Its Schoeps RFI Shield provides high immunity from RF interference for a clean, low-noise signal. The CMC 1 U supports the high maximum SPLs tolerated by the various MK mic capsules (available separately).

Presented here in a matched-pair set, the Schoeps MK 4XP is a cardioid condenser microphone capsule designed for the very closest speech pickup with minimal coloration—directly in front of the speaker’s mouth. Its low-frequency rolloff is compensated by proximity effect. Thus it has (up to the point of its high-frequency emphasis) a flat frequency response for the speaker’s voice, while showing a rolloff (-10 dB at 100 Hz) for all sound that originates from a greater distance. As a result, background sounds are picked up less strongly than the person speaking.
Paired with the CMC 6 or CMR Colette microphone amplifier, the capsule gives you a 40 Hz to 26 kHz frequency response, but this extends all the way to 42 kHz when you pair the capsule with the CMC 6xt.
The Schoeps SG20 Microphone Stand Adapter is designed to stand mount microphones measuring 20mm or 21mm in diameter. The SG20 features a strong metal housing and a durable plastic clamp. Its base is threaded for 5/8"-27 stands, and a threaded adapter is included to accommodate 3/8" and 1/2" mounting. The angle is continuously variable.
