This Broadcast Shoulder Baseplate with Handles for Sony BURANO from SHAPE features a universal VCT baseplate that works perfectly with the Sony BURANO and a wide variety of other cameras. It includes a set of left and right handgrips boasting ARRI-style rosettes and a 15mm rod block system.
The two lightweight 15mm rod blocks can be affixed to both the front and rear sections of the baseplate, facilitating the attachment of additional camera accessories. Included are two pairs of 15mm rods measuring 8 and 4", respectively, and crafted from dependable aluminum coated with a clear finish. The integrated safety ratchet knobs are engineered to apply optimal pressure to the rods.
For enhanced comfort, the thick shoulder pad is constructed with gel padding and slip-resistant material. The baseplate features a sophisticated tool compartment for storing extra screws and an Allen key. This convenient access to supplementary screws proves invaluable, especially during active shoots. The shoulder plate incorporates 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes for storing extra screws and a magnet at the rear for attaching the included Allen key.
