This black Foldable Arca-Type Baseplate from Tilta provides the ability to switch from horizontal to 90° vertical shooting orientation in a snap. A convenient, single button allows you to unlock the baseplate for easy swivel and locking. With a load capacity of 6.6 lb, this piece is well-suited for smaller cameras. The compact baseplate has a quick release four-way Arca-type plate with a 1/4"-20 top mounting screw. The bottom of it features a flexible 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 thread adapter. Constructed from aluminum alloy, the baseplate is durable while remaining lightweight.

I bought this originally to mount my iPhone to a lightweight SLIK Sprint Mini III tripod. I liked it so much it I started using it with my T7i. It holds it securely, locks in the stored position and 90 degree. Locks up solid and holds well, includes a little keychain coin thing to lock down the screw, very nice!

Nice little gadget to go from landscape to portrait, only negative is that arca baseplate is not square. Not a deal breaker, but would be nice to have. Otherwise great.

Unfortunately, there isn't a Tilta Foldable Arca-Type Baseplate that features a safety pin.
