The versatile DI 20P accepts dual instrument, line, and speaker levels and does not require any form of external power for operation. Equipped with custom-built MIDAS transformers and switchable input pads, the DI 20P is well suited to premium-grade professional audio and multimedia applications and faithfully reproduces the character of electric and acoustic instruments, allowing far more of the detail of musical performances to be captured.

A custom instrumentation-grade input circuit was designed for the DI 20P using advanced analog design techniques to create the ideal input impedance match. This innovative approach provides an input stage with ultralow noise, low harmonic and phase distortion characteristics, and a flat frequency response that ranges from 20 Hz to 30 kHz (±1 dB).

DI 20P features genuine high-quality Neutrik XLR and high-impedance 1/4" TS connectors to maintain the highest signal integrity. The Input connectors accept unbalanced signals over 1/4" TS cables, with the Thru jacks passing unbalanced 1/4" TS signals to local amps/monitors. The Output XLR jacks send balanced versions of the input signals to your mixing board or other processing device.
Input Pad, Earth Lift Switch, and More
A -15 dB input pad enables the DI 20P to easily accept a wide range of input signals, including guitar, line, and speaker levels (up to 30 dBu). The onboard Earth Lift switch separates the input and output grounds, eliminating ground loops between equipment on different mains electricity supplies. The DI 20P's fully transformer-isolated design further ensures pristine performance, even in large-scale production environments.
