I now have one of these on all my tripods. I've had and still own several leveling heads, this works with a gimbal head and a 200-500 lens. Solid. Highly recommend.

My FLM CP30-L4 II Carbon Fiber is excellent, but has a flat platform and I don't like fiddling with the legs to level, so found a solution. The LH6 Rotating Lock Version Leveling Base adds only .406lbs and gives mean 12-14 degrees of adjustment. Screw on 3/8" or 1/4" with included adapter. Use it's 3mm Allen wrench placed in either Hole on bottom Ring to Torque down tight on base. Make sure Inverted Ball is in Locked Position by turning Winged Nut. Mount you chosen Head on 1/4" or use an adapter if you 3/8" Head. Can lock Head from turning by screwing (3) 3mm Allen's underneath. Now turn Wing Nut to Unlock Position, while holding Camera, and Level using LH6's Bubble. Your Head may cover, so use it's Bubble if it has one. My Canon R5 Mark II came display a Level Indicator in Display!! My Only Complaint: Have to put all those Bits and Pieces in a container and carry everything in the field. They are started to add up and keep track of What part goes to What Camera, Head, Tripod, etc. Level Up!!
