The 1005 features two audio inputs which are multiplied together to generate inharmonic overtones, great for creating metallic and bell-like sounds as well as other modulation effects. The 1005 ships with a ribbon power cable and mounting screws.

Make It Ring
- The Modamp Module 1005 is a feature-rich ring modulator, which you can use to create metallic and bell-like sounds, as well as many other modulation effects. Modulation can be applied to any signal, such as a signal from a VCO or LFO, via the IN A and IN B jacks, and fed out via the VCA output.
- The 1005 features IN A and IN B attenuators and UNMOD gain control to set the gain in UNMOD mode, a VCA with gain control and a choice of exponential or linear response, and ratio and tune controls that allow you to control and balance the frequency of 2 external VCOs. The illuminated UNMOD and MOD switches disable or enable modulation effects
Inputs and Outputs
- The 1005 gives you comprehensive connectivity, Inputs A and B for the modulator inputs where signal A is modulated by signal B, CV A and CV B connect to your VCO’s frequency CV inputs for remote control, CV IN to control the VCA level from another module.
- The GATE, MOD, and UNMOD jacks give you a choice of remote control of the UNMOD (modulation disabled) and MOD (Modulation enabled) switches and finally the VCA OUT provides the unmodulated or modulated signal output allowing the VCA to be used independently when in UNMOD mode.
Eurorack Ready
Installing the MODAMP 1005 is easy, since it is designed to fit into a standard Eurorack case. Just connect the power cables to the power supply, and screw in the module using the included screws. This allows for the 1005 to be mixed with other synth modules for a truly unique setup.
