The BDI21 combines the features of an active DI (direct injection) box with proprietary tube emulation circuitry, allowing you to access a boatload of vintage tube amps and effects. Use the Blend control to mix the amount of tube emulation with the direct bass signal. Should you require straight, pure tone, step on the bypass switch and use the pedal as a superb active DI box. The pedal is powered by a 9V battery (not included) or the Behringer PSU-SB DC power supply (not included).
