Multi-Purpose DI Box for Stage and Studio Applications
Featuring a thick aluminum housing and stackable, rubber corners to protect the electronics, the Behringer DI100 is a single-channel, active direct injection box built to handle the rigors of the road. Equally suited for both studio use and live applications, this versatile DI box provides impedance and signal matching for the direct connection of an unbalanced line or instrument signal (guitars, basses, keyboards, effect processors, and other line-level devices) to the balanced input of a mixer or amplifier. It can also be used to balance a signal for long cable runs.
Intended for professional applications where +48V phantom power is a standard feature on all mixing consoles, the unit also operates on a 9 VDC battery.
Be Direct
- Plug into the DI100’s balanced 1/4" TRS or XLR Input, then send a signal to your console via the balanced XLR output.
- You can plug your guitar or bass amp’s speaker output into the DI100, which can handle ratings of up to 3000W and still deliver a clean signal.
- The DI100 also features a 1/4" Link jack to send your signal to an on-stage guitar amplifier.
Balanced Transformer-Isolated Output with Ground Lift
- The DI100 utilizes a Behringer OT-1 transformer to deliver a balanced output signal free of ground-loop noise.
- The switchable ground lift disconnect the ground connection from the input and output and further eliminates hum loops.
Equipped to Handle "Hot" Signals
- Thanks to its two -20 dB switchable pads (-40 dB of total attenuation), the DI100 is equipped to handle “hot” signals.
- Also included is a ground-lift switch to eliminate ground-loop issues.
