The Behringer DI4000 V2 is an active direct injection (DI) box that packs four channels into a 1 RU rackspace. Equally suited for both studio use and live applications, this versatile DI-box provides impedance and signal matching for the direct connection of unbalanced line and instruments signals (from guitars, basses, keyboards, effect processors, and other line-level devices) to mixers and amplifiers. The unit operates on mains power.
On the back panel, each channel is equipped with two unbalanced inputs (XLR and 1/4" TS) and an unbalanced 1/4" TS link output (wired in parallel with the main output) to connect to your amp or monitor console. The channels also feature individual input attenuation switches to increase the operating range of the unit from the low-level signals of a high-impedance guitar to the hot speaker terminals of a PA amplifier.
On the front panel, each channel has its own balanced XLR output to connect individual signals to the main mixing board. Channels also feature an individual ground-lift switch, phase-reverse switch, high-cut filter switch, and +20 dB gain switch.
The The DI4000 V2 is equipped with illuminated switches that enable easy operation in dark environments. Accurate, 8-segment LED level meters let you see levels at a glance for each individual channel.
The unit uses Behringer OT-1 transformers to deliver an ultra-flat frequency response for pristine audio.
