The Behringer DI800 V2 is an active direct injection (DI) box that packs eight channels into a 1 RU rackspace. Equally suited for both studio use and live applications, this versatile DI box provides impedance and signal matching for the direct connection of unbalanced line and instruments signals (from guitars, basses, keyboards, effect processors, and other line-level devices) to mixers and amplifiers—with a pristine sound over long cable runs. The unit can operate on either mains power or +48V phantom power from your mixer.
There are eight 1/4" unbalanced input connectors on the front panel. A front-panel LINK connector is wired in parallel with the main input of each channel and can function as an additional input or direct output to an amplifier. There is also a 1/4" unbalanced output connector for each channel, used to send the signal post pad and boost to an additional device. Each channel features a -30 dB pad switch, a +20 dB switch for boosting low-level signals, and a ground-lift switch. On the back panel, each channel has its own balanced XLR output to connect individual signals to the main mixing board.
