The constraints of my workspace dictated that I needed to replace my 3x104hp (312hp total) with a double-row unit. The 280 of the Behringer was close enough... especially when my 312hp was populated the 3x4hp power modules... so it was really only 300hp. Some have said they've had noisy units... mine is perfectly silent. Some have said that it's difficult to juggle modules to balance the three load zones... but most I've seen have been over-zealous in trying to balance the zones to within a few mA of each other. I installed my 30 or so modules in a way that suited my workflow and just did some quick research on Modular Grid to make sure no particular zone was overloaded before screwing everything down. Obviously, if you have any really heavy draw modules, some pre-planning may be the best option. Why not 5-stars? I hate sliding nuts. I was used to threaded rails and it's difficult to go back. How much more would the rails have cost at the manufacturing stage? It's plastic, and there's a certain amount of flex when it's unpopulated.... and sometimes you have to encourage a module to get it to sit properly. So, I guess my criticisms are based on an unfair comparison really. Shame there's not a four and a half stars. I'm actually enjoying the workflow with two rows as opposed to the three. Overall, it really is quite a bargain.
