The Method X RapidRinse and ABS-R Filament Bundle (3 ABS-R/1 RapidRinse) from MakerBot supplies you with three Method Series ABS-R filaments and one Method X RapidRinse filament. Each of the three ABS-R filaments differ in color as each are respectively black, red, or natural colored, and each colored filament comes in a spool weighing 1.43 lb while having a material diameter of 1.75mm. The Method X RapidRinse filament comes in a spool and weighs 1 lb while having a material diameter of 1.75mm.

The Method Series ABS-R features a new ABS formulation that's said to provide more printing reliability and performance with a 98% jam reduction, allowing for higher consistency when creating ABS prototypes, tools, and parts. The RapidRinse filament is meant to be used as a support material for demanding projects. When used on your created parts, you can simply drop the part into tap water and watch the supports dissolve, leaving your created object in exactly the state you designed it. Both the ABS-R and RapidRinse filaments utilize Smart Spool technology to provide valuable information such as material type, color, and amount via RFID chip to the MakerBot Print 3D printer.
