For The Price, Can't Be Beat. Just Keep In Mind The Inputs Are Mono Only.

I just measured the actual gain and output of one of these. The maximum gain is 40 DB which might be enough for some microphone use. The inputs are completely unbalanced. The ring of the plug is not connected. The outputs starts clipping at 10V P-P which is 3.53V RMS or 13 DBu. The 16 DVu in the manufacturer's spec is a 5V output, while the output is 5v peak it should be using the RMS value. They may have confused the two. Finally, the output is riding on 5VDC. Most amplifiers are AC coupled so they probably will not be bothered by this other than the power on and off glitch.
