ASUS Vivobook S 16 16" Overview

Weighing just over three pounds, the ASUS 16" Vivobook S 16 OLED Laptop is an ideal companion for frequent travelers. Despite its thin and light design, the Intel Core Ultra 9 16-Core processor, 16GB of LPPDR5x memory, and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD deliver the performance to create content, multitask demanding applications, and use AI to enhance your workflow. At the same time, the 3.2K 120 Hz OLED display delivers rich visuals while you watch movies and browse photos.

Wi-Fi 6E support allows you to smoothly stream videos with compatible high-speed networks. Each of the two Thunderbolt 4 ports can transfer massive video files at up to 40 Gb/s with compatible devices. There are also two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports available alongside a microSD card reader. The RGB backlit chiclet keyboard offers comfortable typing while letting you express your personality. With built-in facial recognition, you can log in with just a glance. Windows 11 Home is preinstalled.

Intel Core Ultra Processor
The 2.3 GHz Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor powers applications with six Performance cores with a 5.1 GHz Max Turbo 3.0 frequency while the eight Efficient and two Low-Power E-Cores handle background tasks. A dedicated neural processor (NPU) accelerates AI workloads and applications such as Microsoft Copilot. Integrated Intel Arc Graphics delivers vivid, lifelike images.

Stay in Touch
Look and sound your best during video chats with the Full HD webcam, microphone array, and stereo speakers. Plug a headset into the 3.5mm audio jack or pair the laptop with a Bluetooth device for added privacy. The webcam also has a built-in shutter.
Thunderbolt 4
Thunderbolt 4 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB-C connector and features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB4 at up to 20 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort allows you to connect either one 8K monitor or up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 4 port.
Rich Connectivity
In addition to the dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, there are also two 5 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports. You can enhance your multitasking by using the HDMI 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4 ports to connect external monitors.
Windows 11 Home
Microsoft simplified the design and user experience with Windows 11. It has a modern, clean design with a new Start Menu position. Snap Layouts, Groups, and Desktops allow you to multitask with ease. Microsoft has also integrated some of their apps, such as Microsoft Teams. The redesigned Microsoft Store makes it easier to look for supported apps.
