This 40° Snapgrid Eggcrate from Litepanels is designed to work with the Snapbag softbox for the Astra IP 2x1 LED light panel. It narrows the light beam to a 40° spread while adding directional control and containing spill light. The Snapbag softbox is available separately.

Wondering if anyone has any insight on the direct mount grid vs. the snapbag + larger grid? Obviously larger surface area / softer and more money, but I am trying to decide between the two and am looking to hear anyone's experience. Thanks!
Since the Litepanels Snapgrid for Gemini Dual 2x1 LED Panel (40 Degrees), is directly in front on the fixture, it has a more pronounced Beam Spread, & Minimizes Spill Light.
It provides much more directional control which facilitates more precise & selective lighting.
