Featuring a 10 Gb/s compatible USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 connection, this high-speed desktop storage system features two 24TB 7200 rpm enterprise-class 3.5" SATA drives, providing 48TB of raw storage capacity for your 4K videos, high-resolution raw photos, and other important files. While the unit ships pre-configured as a hardware-controlled RAID 0 array, which provides performance gains but no data redundancy, it may be reconfigured for RAID 1, JBOD, or SPAN. The Blackbox PRO RAID Array delivers data transfer speeds of up to 550 MB/s and is preformatted for Mac systems, so you can get straight to using it right out of the box. The Blackbox PRO RAID features a comprehensive 3-year hardware warranty, which includes the cables, in addition to two years of Level 1 data recovery and one year of advanced replacement.

Please note that storage capacity depends on the RAID mode used.

USB-C 3.2 Gen 2
The USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 connection can transfer up to 10 Gb/s with compatible devices and is designed to work with Thunderbolt 3 and USB 3.0 systems using the included cables.
Dual Drive RAID System
This desktop drive system includes two enterprise-class 3.5" 24TB drives with data transfer speeds of up to 550 MB/s.
Hardware-Based RAID
With hardware-based RAID 0, 1, JBOD, and SPAN support, you can configure your Blackbox PRO RAID system without having to deal with finicky software solutions. Use the convenient switches to configure the system for RAID 0 to maximize speed and usable capacity or RAID 1 for data redundancy.
Cool Under Pressure
The rugged aluminum shell acts as a heatsink keeping the internal hard drive at its optimal temperature to deliver higher sustained speeds.
Time Machine Ready
The Blackbox PRO is formatted for Mac computers and is Time Machine compatible right out of the box. You can reformat the drives for Windows.

Really good hard drive

Purchased A 16TB Blackbox Pro Thunderbolt Raid Array. After Unpacking This Drive And Beginning The Setup Procedure It Was Evident That All Of The Ports On The Back Of The Drive Could Not Be Accessed Because The Openings On The Case Were Misaligned With The Ports. Since There Was No Damage To The Package Upon Arrival, I Assumed That This Was Some Kind Of Manufacturing Defect. I Noticed That At Least One Other Reviewer Reported The Same Issue On More Than One Unit. Thank You B&H For Accepting The Return Of This Product Without Any Issues.
