ARRI L7-C Plus RGB LED Fresnel Light (Blue/Silver, Manual)

ARRI continues to expand its LED spotlights with the introduction of the blue/silver L7-C Plus RGB LED Fresnel Light. Featuring a manual yoke, the L6-C Plus has a flood-to-spot capability with a beam angle adjustment of 12-45°. With a larger Fresnel lens compared to the L5-C Plus version, the L7-C Plus is ideal for an extra punch, providing greater throwing distances. The Plus version adopts the uniform, homogeneous light field of its predecessor while providing up to a 90% increase in output. Similar in size and weight to its previous version, the upgraded L-Series Plus has a new 180W RGBW light engine and firmware technology, operating on the same software as the brand's SkyPanel. Other improvements include direct network connectivity for LAN input and control via Art-Net and sACN protocols. Users will also appreciate simplified onboard control thanks to a familiar and intuitive interface.

Superior Output
Designed as the brightest ARRI full-color Fresnel fixture, the L7-C Plus has a 7" light aperture that offers an increased output of up to 90% depending on your settings, such as beam angle and CCT. This fixture has a peak intensity of 113,000 lux at 3.3' (spot beam at 5600K).
Color Management
The 100-0% dimmable L6-C Plus is a "fully tunable" white light source, allowing you to match existing fixtures with color temperatures from 2800 to 10,000K. The onboard controller allows full minus-green to plus-green adjustment as well as RGB+W color gamut color mixing with hue and saturation control, enabling matching of specific shades and skin tones. A wide selection of gels is available as well. CRI of 94 and TLCI of 89 ensure color accuracy.
Extended Control Methods
All functions can be controlled via DMX, an ideal feature for broadcast studios, while RDM permits monitoring of the light's status. Control and configuration are extended via Art-Net, sACN, and web page control of light and settings via HTTP.
AC Power
Power options include the L7-C Plus's 100-240 VAC onboard power supply. A required power cable does not come with this light and needs to be purchased separately.
Variable Beam Angle: 12 to 45 Degree
A key element of the versatility of traditional Fresnels is the ability to spot and flood the beam as needed. Whether it's a flood field for a pullback shot or a tight spot for a bright highlight, the continuous focus-ability of the L-Series Plus performs to your expectations. And, unlike traditional Fresnels, which have significant light waste in spot focus, the efficient L-Series Plus optical system maintains the same field lumens in all focus positions.
Even Light Field
Clear, defined shadows have traditionally been solely a trait of single-source tungsten and daylight fixtures. ARRI L-Series Plus Fresnels provide the same single shadow properties lighting designers expect, delivering natural results.
Sliding Stirrups
The ARRI sliding stirrup design enables precise adjustment of the fixture's center of gravity to compensate for front-end accessories. It also gives the option of pulling the fixture back and reducing its hanging height.
Focus Knobs
Two focus knobs provide the precise adjustment and rapid flood-to-spot that users enjoy from manual, mechanical control. Knobs on both sides of the fixture ensure easy access from all positions, eliminating the need for awkward reaching around the fixture.
Tilt-Lock
The strong tilt-lock provides extremely secure locking, eliminating movement and slippage and ensuring that the fixtures will stay where you put them.
Upgradeable Technology
The L7-C Plus allows for firmware updates through the USB port, making sure the light will always perform at its best.
Optional Accessories
The light is compatible with optional accessories, including the ones that were made for previous L-Series lights. Additionally, the separately available SkyPanel remote can also control the L-Series Plus through a USB connection.

  • Long-term performance for 50,000+ hours
  • Daisy-chain power and data

ARRI L7-C Plus Reviews

Ethernet DMX connections need a special adapter to work

By Steve
Rated 3 out of 5
Date: 2026-01-15

I purchased a pair of L7-C's to put up on a DMX grid only to realize that the PLUS version only has ethernet connections. I have other lights that connect via ethernet that work with 3rd party adapters perfectly, but after reading the manual, Arri lights do not work with 3rd party RJ45 to 5-pin adapters. This is way too complicated compared to every other studio light out there. Arri should be simply plug and play, not buy more specialty adapters. It doesn't help that B&H doesn't have a picture of the back of the lights so I could have seen this issue ahead of time.
