Same features as the Superball, with a quick release plate to change cameras quickly. Head includes a removable safety stopper. Specs are approximately the same as for the Superball.

Foba Superball, made with precision, is one of the strongest fixation devices on the market today. Large locking levers make the heads very easy to handle. They lock down firmly with just a twist.

User-adjustable tension allows fine-tuning the performance of the ball to suit the shooting situation, as well as to compensate for wear over the life of the ball, which sits in a Teflon collar for smooth rotation.

Note: This item requires the purchase of an Arca-type quick release plate, available from Acratech, Arca-Swiss, Foba, NPC, Novoflex & Wimberley

Superball with Quick Release (Requires Plate) is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The very best out there I'm an 8X10 studio as well as a street 4X5 photographer. This is the only ball head that I use. Sure I've tried others, but they simply don't hold up to the foba super ball head. I'll further state that I brought this product used. To simply illustrate the lifetime craftmanship. I either have it on my studio stand or my trusty gitzo tripod. All movements are smooth and lock in perfectly. I like the fact that it can hold up to 32 pounds.... One less thing to worry about. I like the feature that the plates lock in so I don't have to worry about my camera falling off. I once broke the handle and got a replacement handle with no down time. That's because some of foba products have replaceable parts. I know it cost alot, but wouldn't you want your first ball head to be the last one you brought? How expensive is your camera to the ball head you have it resting on? Do you want piece of mind? The answer is clear. Foba super ball head.....

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's great, except..... Ok, this has been a great tool in my kit, no doubt about it. I own two Ballheads from Foba (Superball and Mini) and they've both traveled extensively with me. I really thought this would be a product that would last my entire career. While other tools need replacing (cameras, lenses, tripods, etc.), I thought this Ballhead would go the distance. Here's the rub.... Foba's repair service is terrible. I've sent both my Superball and my Miniball back for service and their work is typically shoddy. On one repair of my Miniball, it looked like the service tech just squirted some epoxy in and shipped it back. I could have done that but I was hoping for a little more care on their part. As much as I hate to say this, I would recommend that you look at another company's ball head. Foba is great. Until you need help. Then you're out of luck!
