11.7MP Sensor
The ASI294MM features a 19.2 x 13mm Sony sensor with a resolution of 4144 x 2822 at 12-bit ADC in Bin 2 mode. The 4.63µ pixel accommodates a full well capacity of 66.4e. The sensor boasts a quantum efficiency of 90%.
High Conversion Gain Mode
HCG mode comes on automatically when gain is set to 120 and keeps readout noise as low as 1.2e, while maintaining a nearly 14-bit dynamic range.
Analog-to-Digital Converter
The ASI294 camera can record in 14-bit and 12-bit ADC. You can image at a faster frame rate if you choose to use 12-bit (high speed mode). This camera also supports ROI (region of interest) shooting, and smaller ROI range support faster fps.
Protective Window
A 2mm thick antireflective-coated protective window improves the camera's performance in UV and near-IR wavelengths.
