SVS UEVOCENTERBA Overview

Experience dialog with impressive clarity and dispersion with the Ultra Evolution Center-Channel Speaker in black ash from SVS. The Ultra Evolution Center Speaker is a 3-way speaker consisting of four total drivers in a time-aligned, rear-ported, bass-reflex cabinet. This speaker is designed to complement the other Ultra Evolution series speakers in surround sound applications.

The Center Speaker includes a 1" Diamond Coated Tweeter with Organic Cell Lattice Diffuser for clear highs and smooth off-axis response, a 4.5" glass fiber composite midrange driver to render stunning dynamics with a broad soundstage, and two 6.5" glass fiber woofers to deliver deep, potent, and accurate bass. The cabinet's chamfered front baffle and time-aligned, flush-mounted drivers reduce edge diffraction and improve off-axis high-frequency response.

Time Aligned Cabinet Geometry
A curved front baffle aligns all drivers on a vertical plane ensuring sound from each driver reaches your ears at the exact same instant. It is able to maximize phase coherence with pinpoint accuracy and imaging.
Diamond Coated Aluminum Dome Tweeter
Through a process called Vapor Deposition, a layer of diamond carbon is applied to the aluminum dome tweeter to vastly improve rigidity and acoustic properties. This breakthrough in material science raises the frequency response well beyond the limits of human hearing resulting in effortless, airy, and clear highs with no measurable distortion. The diamond coating also pushes low frequency extension of the tweeter deeper for more seamless blending with the midrange. An organic cell lattice tweeter diffuser protects the dome and employs semi-random patterns derived from organic cell structures to improve off-axis response and maximize the listening sweet spot.
3-Way Crossover Design with Vertical Tweeter Midrange Array

Precisely tuned crossover frequencies and slopes between tweeter, midrange, and woofers result in truthful phase coherency and a precise, robust soundstage. The design enhances on and off-axis frequency response ensuring transparency and clear vocals at every listening position.
Attention to Detail
A separate, acoustically tuned internal chamber for the midrange optimizes separation and eliminates any potential for cabinet resonances, resulting in pristine sound across the frequency spectrum. Precision-cast aluminum-alloy baskets ensure precise alignment of critical components and maximize thermal dissipation.
