Bugera BV1001M Overview

Unleash the full horsepower of your bass guitar with the Bugera Veyron MOSFET, a compact yet potent 2000W Class-D bass amplifier head with a warm, tubelike MOSFET preamp and Dynamizer tech for the ultimate punch. Along with a classic compressor and versatile Gyrator passive 3-band EQ, you can take full command of your bass tone.

The EQ control includes a 5-way selector switch for mid frequencies and switchable Ultra Low and Ultra High bass and treble boosts, respectively. The I/O has dedicated parallel speaker outputs, a tuner output, a headphone output for silent practice, an FX loop, a balanced XLR output, and more. The Veyron MOSFET includes plenty of protections to keep your amp running for years, including an active cooling system with variable fan speed, plus DC, thermal, and overload protections.

Class-D: Massive Power, Optimal Sound
Thanks to advanced Class-D amplifier technology, the Bugera Veyron can provide you with enormous power and incredible sonic performance in an easy-to-use ultraportable, and lightweight package. Class-D amplification makes all the difference, offering the ultimate in energy efficiency, eliminating the need for heavy power supplies and massive heat sinks. This technology makes it possible to design and build extremely powerful products that are significantly lighter in weight than their traditional counterparts, while using less energy and protecting the environment.
MOSFET Preamp
Bugera's high-voltage MOSFET preamplifier elevates solid-state bass tone to a whole new level, providing the sound, feel, and immense dynamics of an authentic tube amp. Just as with real tubes, Bugera's new MOSFET circuits operate at high voltages, providing the preamp with significant headroom—for subtle, nuanced signature riffs and bass lines to powerful, attention-grabbing solos.
Studio-Quality Compressor
The studio-grade compressor is based on classic and famous studio equipment from the '70s. This totally transparent and musical compressor design allows your full dynamic range to shine through until your signal reaches the compression threshold, which is indicated by the highly visible status LED.

The compressor increases sustain and gently smooths out signal peaks, which is especially handy when you’re laying down the funk, such as slap and pop technique, or hammering home your most aggressive metal lines. The resulting output level lets you unleash powerful and impact-laden bass lines, while still sitting right where you need to be in the mix.

Dynamizer Technology
A secret technique when mixing audio is known as parallel compression (or New York–style compression), which mixes an unprocessed dry signal with a heavily compression wet signal. This brings up the softest sounds to add audible detail instead of bringing down the highest peaks (as usually occurs with compression).

Now, this technology is available to you right in your bass amp through Dynamizer technology. By working directly with the amplifier circuitry, Dynamizer tech adds detail and fat punch, whether playing very softly or extremely loud. This allows you to take full advantage of every watt available to you.

Gyrator Passive EQ
  • 3-band EQ (Bass, Mid, and Treble) control with sound and feel of traditional tube amps
  • 5-position mid-frequency switch for better tonal control
  • Ultralow and ultrahigh switches extend overall EQ frequency range for greater versatility
  • Mute switch allows for silent tuning
  • -15 dB input switch jumps between passive and active operation
Well Connected
Equally adept in the studio, on the stage, or in your practice room, the Veyron MOSFET is replete with convenient options and connectivity to help you get the job done.

  • Balanced XLR DI output for recording and live performance applications
  • Dedicated FX loop for connecting external effects
  • Switchable tuner output for tuning or use as a live monitor feed
  • Headphone output for silent practicing
  • Aux input for playing along with your favorite music
  • Connectivity for optional FSB102B footswitch
  • Ground-lift switch on DI output for humfree cable runs
  • Selectable mic- or line-level output for XLR DI connection
  • Pre- or post-EQ selection for XLR output bypass or amp EQ before sending output
