The BXD15 is packed with comprehensive tone control features beyond its versatile EQ, including Ultra Low and Ultra High switches for extended EQ range, a compressor based on a famous studio design, and more. With Dynamizer technology, your voltages are constantly optimized for a fat, punchy tone at any volume level. Thanks to flexible I/O—XLR DI output, aux inputs, tuner output, and FX loop—and a wedge-shaped cabinet, this amp is comfortable on stages and in studios. Finally, the BXD15 comes with plenty of protections, including an active cooling system with variable fan speed and DC and thermal overload protections.
The compressor increases sustain and gently smoothens signal peaks, which is especially handy when you’re laying down funk using a slap-and-pop technique or hammering home your most aggressive metal lines.
