what is the maximum power output in wattage?
what is the maximum power output in wattage?
Bose doesn't publish this information. This is partly because a speaker's performance shouldn't be measured by wattage alone. We'd always recommend purchasing the speaker, giving it a try, and seeing if you like it. If any questions or issues do arise, please contact our support team for assistance. Thanks!

Can this speaker be used with a microphone as a PA type speaker for voice only?
Hi Daniel, yes. The SoundLink Max wasn't specifically conceived for this purpose, however if you plug a microphone in via the speaker's 3.5mm AUX input (which the speaker does have), it will work. You could connect a Bluetooth mic instead, however there may be a slight delay between you speaking and the audio coming out of the speaker, due to standard Bluetooth signal processing.
