The updated Indiemark 3 Lens Encoder from LOLED Virtual allows you to capture and send high-resolution lens barrel rotation data to 3D virtual production applications, including Unreal Engine, Vive Mars, Disguise D3, VYV, Pixera, and Aximmetry. The Indiemark 3 Lens Encoder is created for smaller productions and enthusiasts. The updated encoder features a right-angle USB cable clamp, a 1/4"-20 anti-twist thread, and an updated adjustable 15/19mm rod clamp. An RGB LED display on the side displays operational status.
The encoder is managed by the included free-download LOLED LONET lens mapping software for Windows. Through this software, you can send the lens adjustment data to 3D production applications. It is capable of providing a 1:1 correlation between a physical and virtual camera lens. Delivering 4000 counts per revolution, which is 2x the resolution of the previous models, it can detect movement smaller than human hair, and the translated lens data is sent with sub-frame latency at 60 fps via the USB-C interface at up to 1000 Hz.
Its compact size allows you to use it with handheld rigs and gimbals. The supplied lens gear features a 0.8 MOD for cine lenses but is interchangeable with optional gears for ENG lenses.
