Venus Optics VEIB1750EF Reviews

Works with the 50-130mm lens, may not for the 17-50mm lens

UPDATE ON PREVIOUS REVIEW This mount works on the 50-130mm lens, but the version I bought fit poorly on the 17-50mm lens and after finally attaching it the lens would not mount on any EF mount camera I could find. Laowa did eventually solve the problem. They made an alteration to the rear part of the lens and now the mount fits and can be attached to any of my EF mount cameras. I don't know if Laowa is changing the build of the 17-50mm lens from this point forward. You may have to get on at them to make a similar adjustment for your lens. Their communication around this issue been rather poor, which is a shame as this lens itself has been a treat to work with.

will the 17-50mm mount to the BM pocket 6K PRO ...

will the 17-50mm mount to the BM pocket 6K PRO with this EF mount?
Asked by: ted
I have three BMD Pocket 6K Pro cameras and an URSA Broadcast G2. This lens will not attach with the EF mount installed on any of them. I would like to ask B&H staff to actually try this install. If they can get it to work I will be very happy. At the moment I'm struggling to get any definitive response out of Venus Optics on whether they will fix this issue. This mount is -supposed- to work with the 17-50 Ranger lenses. The package is clearly labelled. But the flange sticks out so far that the lens cannot be attached and you can't even attach the rear lens cap they supply with the EF mount.
