MID49 M49-MON-CAN-3003 Reviews

This hinge is so nice, I bought it twice for C400 and C80!

This hinge is so nice, I bought it twice. First: I needed something streamlined for my (super gigantic) C400 rig. I outfitted this mount with a MID49 Canon Striped mount adapter (SKU: M49-CAG-ARR-CSR) . I have the monitor mounted on a Wooden Camera cage/handle on the back of the camera, where I want it. It easily tucks away for packing up. The Canon provided mount is too fiddly and bulky for me. Second: C80. I wanted a way to easily attack an EVF to my C80, no cage. I screwed it directly into the handle mount. I again used the MID49 Canon striped adapter mount to reorient the grooves on the mount so I can attach. MID49 makes some interesting components and sometimes that's just what you need for traditional and non-traditional rigs alike!

Meh, not really useful

It is just okay. I find the original OEM mount to be much more useful.
