Orbbec Gemini 2 XL Overview

The Gemini 2 XL 3D Camera from Orbbec is a long-range camera that is suitable for outdoor use. It is based on Infrared Enhanced Stereo technology with a baseline of 100mm and is equipped with Orbbec's OBox computing module. It delivers resolutions of up to 1280 x 800 at 5, 10, 15, and 20 fps. It has a wide 101° diagonal field of view and advanced depth processing for conquering complex and demanding application scenarios. It operates using USB-C 2.0, which provides data, Gigabit Ethernet, which provides data and power via PoE+, and a DC power input.

The Gemini 2 XL is easy to set up and operate with the Orbbec SDK and delivers accurate and reliable data in various lighting conditions from pitch black to semi-outdoor. Also featured is a rolling shutter, plus wavelength sensitivity up to 850nm.
