Nanuk 980 Reviews
Large Versatile Case
I upgraded from a Nanuk 925 to the 980 for storing my prime lenses and expanding the collection of them. I fit a Sigma 85mm F1.4, 40mm F1.4, and 28mm F1.4 Art series, plus an RF-EF adapter with iShoot tripod collar attached. They fit nicely in the case with minimal adjustment of the dividers. I haven't done more than load it up and put it on a shelf in my backroom. But I could easily put my Star Adventurer in the case without disrupting the lenses.
Spacious, sturdy, wish it had more height
4.5 stars for it, deducting half a star only for designer's thought process. I cannot store a Canon R3 or an R5C with battery pack attached on it. I knew that going in, so I wont ding the product, but wish the designer had thought of it and accommodated it. Of course it can fit laying down, but that wouldn't be an efficient use of space. Other than that, all other features - 4 latches (2 in front and 2 on the side), build quality, foam quality and pouches are top notch, hence overall 5 stars on record and 4.5 stars in the write up.
