ASUS BQ16 Pro Overview

Enhance your home or office with blistering fast wireless connections with the ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro BE30000 Wireless Quad-Band Multi-Gig 2-Piece Mesh Wi-Fi System. Comprised of two white Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) modules, each of which can be configured as the router or satellite, this quad-band wireless mesh network kit is designed to deliver up to 30 Gb/s throughput over the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and dual 6 GHz bands, providing smooth 8K video streaming and extremely low latency gaming experiences.

One of the 6 GHz bands may be used as a dedicated backhaul for the modules to efficiently communicate with each other. These two modules support up to 8000 square feet of coverage and can operate using a single network ID (SSID), providing seamless connectivity as you move from room to room. With both 10G and 1G internet and device connectivity, you're free to upgrade to multi-Gig services at your own pace. You can also connect a 4G LTE or 5G LTE device to one of the USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports to ensure internet access if the main service goes offline. Use the ASUS Router app on your Android or iOS device to configure your network, including guest logins and parental controls. You can also connect to your home network via a VPN for additional security when using a public Wi-Fi hotspot.

Ultrawide 320 MHz Bandwidth
Wi-Fi 7 introduces all-new ultrawide 320 MHz channel bandwidth in the 6 GHz band, doubling data transmission capacity.
Efficient 4096-QAM Transmission
4K-QAM technology boosts data transmission rates by up to 20% over Wi-Fi 6/6E due to its higher QAM, which packs signals more densely, allowing for more data to be uploaded and downloaded in the same time frame as before.
Tri-Band Multi-Link
Multi-Link Operation (MLO) technology aggregates or switches seamlessly between 6 GHz, 5 GHz, and 2.4 GHz bands simultaneously, enabling faster speeds with more reliable Wi-Fi connections.

A 6 GHz band may be dedicated for communication between ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro modules. The AiMesh backhaul intelligently optimizes performance for low-latency connectivity. I was looking to maximize faithful transmission of all bandwidth provided by my internet provider and markedly extend my useful signal range throughout my home and property; my BQ-16 Pro pair did both perfectly! Wide ranging gigabit internet active in literally 10-12 minutes. Setup with the ASUS router app prompts was as smooth as “buttah” as the saying goes! Strongly recommend this router and node combination. Truly superior!!!
