- With Shure's Steerable Coverage technology delivering precise pickup over 4 independent lobes along with built-in automatic mixing and adjustable EQ, the MXA310 captures every voice with pinpoint accuracy—anywhere in the room.
- Office HVAC systems can add overpowering background noise to the call; the unique toroid polar pattern only captures table-level sound, helping to reduce unwanted distractions from fan or HVAC noise.
- Additional pickup patterns include omnidirectional, cardioid, supercardioid, hypercardioid, and bidirectional—all steerable to any angle in 15-degree increments.
- Built-in CommShield technology provides immunity from RF interference.
- Shure Network Audio Encryption can be enabled when used with the IntelliMix P300 Audio Conferencing Processor or Shure Audio Network Interfaces, which utilize AES-256 technology to protect confidential content.
- The MXA310 connects to the vast ecosystem of Shure and third-party networked audio devices via Dante or AES67, with just one Ethernet cable for power (PoE), control, and audio.
- Four discrete audio channels and an additional automix channel are delivered over a single network cable.
- Dante digital audio coexists safely on the same network as IT and control data or can be configured to use a dedicated network.
- The microphone supports control strings for third-party preset controllers, including Crestron and AMX.
- All parameters are configured via a browser-based control software, with intuitive control of polar patterns, templates, and presets for quick setup for any meeting space requirement.
- Programmable capacitive-touch mute switches ensure simple user operation. Mute switch modes include Toggle, Push-to-Talk, Push-to-Mute, and Disable.
- A configurable multicolored LED light ring displays mute status and displays lighted segments during setup to confirm coverage areas and auto mix settings.
- The mic features programming-free LED mute sync with leading software conferencing solutions including Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams, and Skype for Business when used with IntelliMix P300 or ANIUSB-MATRIX (both available separately).
- Cable exit along or through a table allows for easy retrofitting of previous Shure MX396/MX395 boundary microphone installations.

The Shure P300 IntelliMix Audio Conferencing Processor is designed to work with the Microflex Wireless (MXW) system to deliver eight channels of acoustic echo cancellation, DSP-processing, and level control for conference rooms and meeting spaces. The processor supports Microflex wireless microphones while also offering versatile input and output connectivity options that allows users to incorporate loudspeakers, computers, mobile devices, and other audio components.
The P300 provides Dante (10 in/8 out), and to connect analog devices, the unit provides two 3-pin block connector inputs and two 3-pin block connector outputs along with a 3.5mm input jack for mobile devices. The USB Type-B port lets you connect computers and other USB devices, while the RJ45 port supplies the unit with power and connects it to other access points in the conference system network.
