SLIK Rover A Reviews
Rock Solid SLIK Travel Pod!
Picked up this tripod for something to carry while hiking that wasn’t too long, this fit the bill perfectly. It collapses quite small comes with a nice neoprene style case similar to what the peak design travel tripods come with, unfortunately no real secure way to attach a carrying strap to the case they provide I ended up buying a Pro master case that fit it well. I also swapped out the rubber feet with Gitzo retractable spikes. Tripod sets up solid and is very stable. Holds my 6D and lenses well. Although I am a little thrown off as I am used to SLIK tripods either being made in Japan or Thailand, this one is made in China so far the quality is 100% on SLIK quality. If you are looking for a full back leg style travel tripod, I highly recommend it. Top quality without breaking the bank.
