The 2nd Gen HighPoint Rocket 1528D PCIe Gen4 x16 to 4-SlimSASx8 NVMe Switch Adapter delivers up to 32 GB/s of transfer bandwidth. The four SlimSAS (SFF-8654) ports can directly support up to eight U.2 or U.3 NVMe SSDs and cable connections to SFF-8639 or SFF-8654/SFF-1016 UBM and VPP compliant backplanes. This adapter complies with the LP-MD2 specification, thanks to its compact form factor. With true hot-plug/hot-swap support, you'll be able to add and remove SSDs while the host platform remains active. The integrated OOB (out-of-band) management can streamline service and maintenance workflows.
