Have a 32" ROKU TV with muddy dialog.. can I use this for HDMI-ARC sound only? (Not streaming) So TV remote controls volume?
You would need to use the optical audio port, or you would need to connect your TV via Bluetooth (if the TV has Bluetooth connectivity), to be able to use the Roku Streambar SE Stereo Soundbar for audio only. It would not work for audio only via HDMI.

The included wireless remote control for the Roku Streambar SE Stereo Soundbar
(BH # RO9104R) will operate the soundbar and will also power the connected television on/off and control the volume.
