It fits and does not touch the glass

This lens cap is expensive and I debated the purchase for a while as the lens does come with a kind of a sock for protection but ultimately I wanted something hard to protect that giant front element. This works really well as it fits nicely around the edges and was made so it can't go in too deep and press on the glass. The springs holding it in place are just right too.
