It can transfer data at speeds up to 6496 MB/s and may be configured as a RAID 0, 1, 3, 4, 5, or 10, each of which provides performance enhancements, allows for 1:1 data redundancy, or a combination of both.
Built with a storage capacity of 72TB, the Accelsior SE is equipped with nine 8TB OWC Aura Ultra IV NVMe PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSDs, allowing you to save all your important files easily. A plug-and-play design allows you to install this card within your Windows or Mac system without the need to download additional drivers or software. An internal cooling fan manages airflow within the card to ensure your drives do not buckle under potential heat buildup while also minimizing sound within your case. The Accelsior SE features a PCIe 3.0 x8 interface, but may be used in larger slots and is backward compatible with PCIe 2.0, allowing you to experience enhanced data transfer speeds with a wide range of devices.
Please note this card also requires a full height, full length PCIe slot. Also, OWC's RAID software, SoftRAID Premium, requires macOS 10.14 or later, Windows 10 or later, or Windows Server 2019 or 2022. M1 Macs required macOS 11.3 or later. SoftRAID is licensed pre computer and RAID 10 (1+0) is coming soon to Windows.
