From tone-crushing overdrive to modern transparency, the Microtubes B7K2 from Darkglass Electronics delivers a versatile bass preamp that enhances your instrument's presence. With 4-band EQ control, you can sculpt the ultimate tones.
The EQ control includes two 2-way buttons, one for low-mid frequencies (500 Hz and 1.5 kHz) and one for high-mid frequencies (1.5 and 3 kHz), providing further refinement of your bass's sonic character. You get even more control with the Grunt switch, which provides three levels of bass boost, and an Attack switch, which offers you the ability to boost or cut treble content before saturation. Independent Drive control lets you dial in the ideal amount of saturation, while Blend lets you deftly mix your wet and dry signals however you see fit. With the balanced XLR DI output, you can connect to audio gear like mixing consoles, PA systems, and interfaces, and the useful ground lift avoids grounding loops. With the parallel output, you get a pure passthrough of your signal for engaging in parallel processing.
