Okay Upgrade From Ball Head

It is a decent upgrade from the ball head on my 3 Legged Thingy tripod. But the movement on this head is nowhere near smooth - no matter how one tries to adjust it. If I were doing video this head would be totally unacceptable. But for simple photo single shot setup it is manageable. You have to fiddle with it to get it set up on your tripod to function properly. You really have to tighten everything down to achieve a repeatable shot. I was using this to fine tune my autofocus on a lens and even with shutter delay the shots would vary from shot to shot, not ideal. That said, for $70 there is nothing with these features (all that you do actually want) out there. And to get a good version of these features one has to spend considerably more. So while I find this a frustrating thing to use, I did not make a bad purchase; I merely made a cheap purchase.

Is this compatible with arca plates? I have a ...

Is this compatible with arca plates? I have a Fuji XT-5 with arca handgrip. Will this be compatible?

The Sirui KV-10 Pan and Tilt Head with Leveling Base does work with Arca-Swiss plates. However, you will need to make sure of the plate size of the grip. To be classified as an Arca-Swiss plate, you need to have a 45-degree angle on both sides. The dovetail spacing can be different between Arca-Swiss plates. The KV-10 head takes a TY55KS quick-release plate with a dovetail of 39mm, and the clamp range can be adjusted from 37mm to 40mm on the KV-10 head.
