Sonos Ace Reviews
Seamless and great quality
I originally ordered the Sony XM6 headphones, but after using them I decided to return them and switch to the Sonos Ace — and I’m glad I did. The Sonos Ace feels premium the moment you pick it up. The build quality is noticeably better, and the overall design is more refined. Connectivity is where it really separates itself: pairing is instant, stable, and seamless across my devices, while the Sony struggled more than it should at this price point. The Sonos app is another major win. The UI is clean, intuitive, and actually enjoyable to use. Sony’s app felt cluttered and dated in comparison. Sound quality on the Ace is excellent — balanced, detailed, and powerful without being overwhelming. But the killer feature for me is how easily it connects to my Sonos soundbar. I can switch from watching TV to listening through my headphones in seconds. Sony simply doesn’t offer anything like this. To top it off, the Sonos Ace ended up being the better value for the money. Bottom line: I returned the Sony XM6 and kept the Sonos Ace because it delivers better build quality, far superior connectivity, a much nicer app experience, smarter ecosystem integration, and better overall value.
Very underrated headphones
Build quality and sound quality out class its competitors.
