Even though I bought this a year and a half ago, I finally cleared my desk off enough to start taking pictures of my slides. I can get a slide into the slot with some difficultly, but the fit is extremely tight. I was hoping to insert a slide, take a picture of it, and push out the first slide with the next. The slot appears to be 0.5 to 1.0 mm too narrow, the slide gets warped, and I have to go through some effort to extract the first slide. This problem is true for my Kodachrome slides as well as those developed by other labs. See the attached picture to see the Kodachrome slide that I inserted for this demonstration. You can see the warp. At the macro distance to get the picture of image, I have to wonder if the DoF will make focusing tough. I'm hoping VALOI can help me for a better solution.
I Have Been Using An Easy35 On Pentax K1 For A While, Just Got The Slide Holder. Works Great. A Little Expensive For A Piece Of Plastic But The System Is Fantastic.
