The A130 TreeRoot Threaded Center Column Module from Falcam is a short center column module that allows select TreeRoot tripods to achieve low-level shooting perspectives by spreading their leg angles very wide. This short column is compatible with the butterfly-latch mechanism used in the TreeRoot tripod center column. It has a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting tip and includes a 3/8"-16 bushing adapter, making it compatible with virtually any tripod head. An integrated set screw locks a mounted head in place and prevents accidental unscrewing while panning.

This is exactly what I needed to use a fluid head on the Falcam Treeroot tripod. If you want to use a head other than the default Falcam Pro ball head, you will need this center column module.

Great for different ballheads

Great addition to the TreeRoot tripod system. Allows mounting an alternate tripod head quickly and easily. Only issue is that the small retaining screw in the round base can fall out since there is no mechanism to stop it at its maximum extension. Used this with my Platyball head and it has cutouts in the base that doesn’t allow the screw to engage the head. Minor issue, and one you won’t encounter if the head has a solid base.
