The kit allows you to mount a total of 55 pounds on the Wave 150i and 33 pounds on the 100i, compared to 33 and 22 pounds respectively without using a counterweight. Along with the counterweight, the kit includes a 12.4", 1.6 lb shaft and a 6.5", 12.5 oz extension shaft.

It's a bit pricey, but if you're missing or need to buy weights and arm for your mount, this works. It even comes with an extension rod to get your counterweight out further to balance larger setups with the smaller 11lb weight. I balance my Aperture 6 RC and Nikon with just the weight on the standard length rod. It is stainless steel so it will not rust which is a big plus considering humidity and dew. This is part of the price tag. Hey, you buy it once and you're good to go.
