The 80mm f/2.8 Zeiss Plannar "EL" lens is part of a low-priced category of Rollei lenses for newcomers to medium format photography. The filter bayonet has been replaced by a 67mm screw thread. An outer bayonet mount is provided for attaching the lens hoods.
Rollei lenses for the 6000 series cameras are currently available in PQ and PQS versions. PQ (and "EL") lenses work with all SLX and 6000 series cameras an offer a top shutter speed of 1/500sec. PQS lenses are intended ONLY for the 6001, 6003 and 6008 cameras and offer a top speed of 1/1000sec.
