OConnor Ultimate 2575E Fluid Head

The Ultimate 2575E Fluid Head from OConnor is a versatile tripod head with a 133 lb payload capacity at a 4" center of gravity height above the platform. It features a patented sinusoidal counterbalance system, ensuring precise balance throughout the tilt range. Combined with a stepless, ultrasmooth pan and tilt fluid drag, it offers superior control and stability for cinematic shooting.

Four integrated handle mount rosettes allow the optimal positioning of an optional pan bar to suit your specific shooting style or application. With its infinite drag adjustment, the Ultimate 2575E accommodates everything from rapid whip pans to the smoothest long lens framing. Its lightweight magnesium housing provides excellent performance, power-to-weight ratio, and reliability. A lightweight carbon fiber cover shields the balance mechanism from damage and unintended access.

Features at a Glance
  • Counterbalance crank with a numerical readout
  • Operator-friendly controls conveniently placed on the operator’s side

OConnor Euro-Style Quick Release Platform with Touch & Go Plate

The Euro-Style Quick Release Platform from OConnor can accommodate heavy camera rigs and is designed for use with the OConnor 2575D, 120EX, 2560, and 2065 series of fluid heads. The included large European-style touch and go plate enables rapid mounting and demounting of your camera. A two-step lever at the rear of the platform locks the touch and go plate securely in place.

OConnor 2575-137 Top Half of Telescoping Pan Handle (30° Bend)

This OConnor 2575-137 Top Half of Telescoping Pan Handle is compatible with the OConnor 2065, 2575, and 120EX fluid heads. Use its lever-based screw to connect the handle to a rosette on either side of the head for right or left-handed use. A separately available, cushioned bottom handle component is required to properly use this telescoping handle. The 30°-angled pan handle can rotate within its clamp for locking at your preferred orientation.

OConnor 2575-135 Bottom Extension of Telescoping Pan Handle

The OConnor 2575-135 Bottom Handle Extension is designed to work with both 1030-246 and 2575-137 telescoping pan handles. This extension fastens onto the pan handle via a locking lever. It features a padded bottom grip for increased operating comfort.

OConnor Mitchell Base for 1040/2560/2575 Heads

Secure your fluid head onto your tripod with this Mitchell Base from OConnor. Compatible with the 1040, 2560, and 2575 heads, the base mounts onto the tripod with a separately available Mitchell base tie-down.

What are the differences between the 2575E, the 2575C and the 2575D ? I only found a 500g weight difference.
Asked by: Mathis
The OConnor 2575C is the original—still solid, but aging and the foundation that OConnor built upon for the preceding models. The OConnor 2575D introduced stepless side counterbalance controls for quicker setup, an illuminated bubble level, upgraded handle mounts (up to four), and enhanced rosettes and drag controls. It also has more precise balance markings and a refined build. The OConnor 2575E goes a step further with a magnesium housing and carbon fiber cover—lighter but just as strong. It includes a stainless-steel center lock and a numeric counterbalance readout, making repeat setups easier. It also delivers the smoothest motion yet from OConnor. All three are excellent, but the OConnor Ultimate 2575E Fluid Head Package is the most refined of the series.
