Samyang SY-TRPD Reviews
It's too lightweight of construction...

I never thought I'd say this, but the mount ring is too lightweight of construction given the size of the lens (i.e., the 35-150mm is a beast). If there's even a slight breeze, the camera and lens move. Also, if you bump it, it takes a while to settle. Frustrating when trying to work quickly. Fortunately, there's a collar that's made for the Fujifilm Fuji GF 45-100mm that works much better. Also, I think Samyang missed an opportunity here in that if they'd given it just a bit more movable range (allowed it to close a bit more), it would have been fantastic for the smaller Sony lenses. As it is, by adding a small shim, this is a great tripod mount for smaller lenses (e.g., the Sony 85mm f/1.8).

Is there a version of this item for the L-Mount lens?
According to the manufacturer, the Samyang Tripod Mount Ring for 35-150mm f/2-2.8 AF Lens (Sony E) is specific only to the Sony E mount version. They do not make a version for the L-mount lens.
