The Olympus case is close fitting providing protection from bumps and scrapes.
The upside is that it fits like a glove. The downside is it fits like a glove. The case is very well made. I believe it's durable enough to last for years. The zippers feel solid. If I were to change anything, it would be the carabiner. The included one is squared off, which I think will put undue wear on the strap; a rounded one would be much better. The only thing I don't like about the case overall is that if you put an adapter ring with a UV filter and a lens cap on top of that, it's a very tight fit. I have to squish it shut to get the zipper to close. I don't know what effect that will have long-term.
