Comfortably carry your camera kit with the gray Solstice V2 Sling Bag from Tenba. The strap really needs to be a little more padded, but it’s fine for a couple hours at a time even with a big lens. Materials are pretty good otherwise and the water bottle pocket is very nicely sized. It does fit the OM-1 with 150-400 mm lens, and is the only bag of this style I could find that does.

DECENT BAG...BUT COULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH BETTER

This is not a bad bag, but for my needs it could have been a whole lot better with just a few changes. The good news is this: the bag features strong construction, looks good, and I can (just barely) squeeze in a Nikon Zed armed with a 180-600mm lens attached (that purpose is, in fact, why I bought the bag). Then why am I not ecstatic? The deal breaker is that the carry strap is simply too short. I am a big guy (6'1", 240 pounds and muscular). If I extend the strap to its maximum length I can carry it, and in fact find it comfortable. But when I slide it around to the side to extract my camera, it is just too high up--at chest level--and with my long arms it is awkward to extract things from. It is like everything is in my face, and I want it lower, closer to my waist. So at this point I am trying to figure out how to physically modify it to work better for me. There is one other small caveats too: the pockets are woefully tight, and you just cannot fit much in them (think a filter or a lens cap).

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S Lens (Nikon Z) and the Nikon NIKKOR Z 400mm f/4.5 VR S Lens will not fit in the Tenba Solstice V2 Sling Bag (Gray, 16L) at the same time.

Is the second sliding security strap shown in the Tenba video (used by biker) detachable? Also, is it required if your walking?

The security strap on the Tenba Solstice V2 Sling Bag is removable and not required to use the bag when walking around, but it does add extra support and security when used with the bag.

The Solstice 16L Sling was designed to be the smallest bag possible that would fit a Nikon 180-600mm or Sony 200-600mm attached to a camera. So yes, it will fit.

The Tenba Solstice V2 Sling Bag (Gray, 16L) has enough space to hold the Nikon Z8 with the Nikkor 600mm f/6.3 lens attached and the Nikkor 100-400mm f/4.5-6.3 lens; however, it would be a tight fit, and a larger backpack, like the Tenba Axis V2 Backpack (Black, 20L), B&H # TEAV220LBPB, may be more ideal.

The Tenba Solstice V2 Sling Bag (Gray, 16L) interior dimensions are 17 x 8.5 x 5". The Nikon D750 DSLR Camera with the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR Lens attached will fit inside, and you will have additional space to fit up to two more lens that are similar in size to the Nikon AF-P NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E ED VR Lens.
